Foundation golf tournament: Saturday, October 24 at X-Golf. Details on the Golf Tournament page.
The Oak Ridge High School Foundation has no paid staff. Every event it runs, every dollar it raises, and every grant it makes is the work of volunteers -- parents, alumni, teachers, and neighbors who give a few hours to Oak Ridge High School.
Oak Ridge does not have a PTA. The Foundation is a parent- and community-run 501(c)(3) that raises money for the whole school, and it runs entirely on the people who show up.
If you can help, fill out the form on this page. You do not need a Google account to fill it out.
The Foundation's golf tournament is held at X-Golf, an indoor golf simulator venue. Teams are two players, and play runs in three waves.
The Blue and Gold Gala held on February 21, 2026 at the Folsom Community Center had a Mardi Gras theme, and its fund-a-need was library modernization.
Reserved seating at Trojan Stadium is one of the Foundation's fundraisers, and like everything else the Foundation does, it is run by volunteers.
Tell us your name, how to reach you, and what you are interested in. There is nothing to upload and no account to create.
The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Executive Board. Its Treasurer seat is listed as open, and filling it is one of the most useful things a volunteer can do for Oak Ridge right now.
Here is the honest size of the job. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) with no paid staff. Its fiscal year ends June 30 and it files a 990-EZ. In the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2025, it took in $136,505, spent $74,421, and ended the year with $174,726 in net assets. It has reported no liabilities in any year on record.
If you have bookkeeping, accounting, or nonprofit finance experience, or you would like to serve in another board or committee role, choose that option on the form above and tell us a little about your background.
Between 2023 and 2026 the Foundation put $232,016 back into Oak Ridge High School. That total was divided this way:
- Student programs -- 41.5%
- Teacher development -- 19.9%
- Technology -- 14.3%
- Campus and facilities -- 12.2%
- Classroom learning -- 7.7%
- Student support -- 4.4%
The Foundation has no paid staff, so the hours people volunteer are what make spending like that possible.
You can still help. Come to an event, read what the Foundation has funded, or send the board a question.
