Foundation golf tournament: Saturday, October 24 at X-Golf. Details on the Golf Tournament page.
The Oak Ridge High School Foundation supports the whole school, and part of that support is a scholarship for graduating Oak Ridge seniors.
Applications are not submitted on this site. The scholarship is listed on the El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE) scholarship portal, and the application is submitted there.
The Oak Ridge High School Foundation is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) based at Oak Ridge High School. There is no paid staff. Foundation funding has gone to the library, classroom technology, teacher development, campus and facilities projects, and this scholarship.
Two requirements are confirmed:
- You are a graduating senior at Oak Ridge High School.
- You have a minimum grade point average of 3.00.
Two items are confirmed. Start on the letters early, because they depend on other people.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Two essays, 250 to 350 words each.
- Open the Foundation's scholarship listing on the EDCOE portal.
- Create a student account on the portal if you do not already have one.
- Upload the documents the listing asks for.
- Submit before the deadline shown on the listing.
This page does not publish a deadline. Check the listing for the current deadline and whether the application is open.
The application itself is submitted on the EDCOE portal. For a question about the scholarship, email the Foundation at contact@orhsfoundation.com.
The Foundation also funds teacher grants at Oak Ridge.
